Claret Clef Music & Arts provides music and arts workshops to schools, community groups and arts/theatre establishments within the Northamptonshire area. They provide music workshops including vocals, song writing, rhythm, using boomwhackers and creating instruments from everyday items.
The ethos of Claret Clef is to encourage all within the community to have access to music and the arts.
With over 10 years experience working in Music Education at all key stages, Kathrina prides herself on sharing her enthusiasm of music and the arts and showing young people how the skills they develop can be transferred into everyday life. She also has experience of working with young people who have English as an additional language (EAL). Her knowledge of music education at various levels enables her to support teachers with planning their curriculum.
Kathrina is a trained Arts Award adviser at Discover, Explore, Bronze, Silver and Gold and has experience of delivering to large groups as well as on an individual basis. She has also supported other Arts Award advisers through a buddy system. Kathrina’s knowledge and interest in a variety of art forms enables her to support young people throughout their journey.
