About Me

I am a Ph.D candidate with University of Northampton researching Women's Philanthropy in the Boot and Shoe Industry in the Nineteenth and early Twentieth Century.
I have a Masters Degree in History with the Open University and have a keen interest in poverty, families and transport and leisure history. My dissertation research was based around Bus Services in Northamptonshire during the period 1920 to 1950.
I am currently one of the Blog editors for the Women's History Network
